broadcast (tv and radio) Coordinator

We are looking for a smart, motivated, and organized Broadcast Coordinator to join our Media Manager team at our office located in Rochester, MN. In this position, you will have the chance to apply your broadcast knowledge in the Direct Response advertising industry while working closely with our Broadcast Buyer and Executive Vice President. This opportunity is a full-time salaried position.

Job Summary:

  • Assist in the implementation of all broadcast clients’ daily needs.

  • Edit and traffic all broadcast advertising.

  • Participate in campaign management activities including (but not limited to): media buying, media planning, results reporting, client calls, research collecting and proposal development.

  • Working with media vendors to execute client orders.

  • Work with clients to execute requests and interpret campaign performance.

  • Help with competitive analysis including gathering intelligence, analyzing, and presenting results.

  • Conduct ongoing communication with existing partners by phone and email.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or any related field.

  • 3-5 years of professional business experience.

  • Media or advertising experience is a plus.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.

  • A high level of ethics, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.

  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • This position is located in Rochester, MN. This is not a remote position. You must live in the Rochester, MN area.

Job Summary:

  • Identifying target audiences and plan strategic and tactical media campaigns to help achieve client goals.

  • Manage, compare, and negotiate rates and airtimes for both the Media Manager and the client’s benefit.

  • Prepare schedules and coordinate with the creative services department for production of advertising assets and traffic.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and ensure broadcast clients’ needs are met daily.

  • Work with vendors and account managers to ensure creative deadlines and assets are delivered for an on-time campaign launch.

  • Review invoices from partners and ensure that we are paying only for the value received.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor or Associates degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, or any related field.

  • 5+ years of professional experience buying audio on a national level.

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge is required.

  • A high level of ethics, accuracy, dependability, enthusiasm, and confidentiality.

  • Strong technical and organizational skills in addition to excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Media Manager is located in Rochester, MN. Open to hire a remote employee for this position.
